Our online marketplace
Your products listed on afriinspireconcepts.com, alongside other Black and African makers across Manitoba. We handle the storefront, the checkout and the promotion, so you don't need your own website to start selling online.
Our markets and events
A booth at our in-person markets, where customers meet you face to face. Black Diamonds Cultural Market, the African Food Festival and our seasonal markets bring buyers who came specifically to shop from makers like you.
The Canadian Museum for Human Rights
We have secured ongoing retail space at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights in Winnipeg. Open to handmade products made in Manitoba by Black and African-owned businesses — a national stage for local makers.
Community members hear about opportunities first. Spaces like the Museum, new partnerships and contracts go to Afri Inspire Business Community members before they are opened to anyone else. It is free to join.

Common questions
What does it cost?
It depends on which channel you choose and what you sell — listing online and taking a market booth work differently. We'll walk you through the numbers when we talk, before you commit to anything.
Do I need my own website?
No. That's one of the main reasons makers sell with us. We provide the storefront, the checkout and the promotion, so you can start selling online without building anything yourself.
How much stock do I need?
There's no minimum. We work with makers producing small batches by hand as well as businesses with larger runs. Tell us what you can realistically supply and we'll plan around it.
Do I have to be a registered business?
Not necessarily — we work with makers at all stages, including people just starting out. If you're not registered yet, we can point you to the right support through the Afri Inspire Business Community.
Who can apply?
Makers, artisans, food producers and small businesses across Manitoba. We especially welcome Black, African and newcomer-owned businesses, and women-led businesses.
